In RE The Matter of Court Administration Order RE: Report of Proceedings Disk Format

Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.5(a)(2) only allows a court reporter or person authorized to prepare the verbatim report of proceedings to file a diskette (using ASCII format with hard page returns). The ASCII format creates an electronic version that is cumbersome to use in referencing the record because it does not keep the same page format of the original document.

In order to resolve this problem, Division III of the Court of Appeals will accept and encourages the court reporter or person preparing the verbatim report of proceedings to file the diskette in PDF format.
