General Orders of Division III

In RE the Matter of Court Administration Order; RE Electronic Facsimile Transmissions

            Pursuant to General Rule 17, the Clerk of the Court may accept for filing documents sent directly to the Clerk by electronic facsimile (fax) transmission.  The general policy of the Court has been to accept certain motions as fax filings only with prior approval of the Court.  Fax filings will now be accepted without prior approval as follows:

            (1) Emergency motions of any page length.

            (2) Any document that is ten (10) pages or less. However, documents that
            require the filing of the original plus a copy or copies must have prior approval
            before transmission by fax.


No charge will be imposed for facsimile transmissions.
