General Orders of Division IIIIn RE the Matter of Court Administration Order; RE Service of Briefs on Criminal Defendants
Amended RAP 10.2(h) and RAP 10.5(b) provide that a party at the time of filing a brief must serve a copy on every other party and file proof of service with the appellate court. Service of the briefs directly on the criminal defendant saves time in the appeal process, therefore, IT IS ORDERED: In criminal cases briefs must be served on the criminal defendant.
