Ongoing Requirements of Certified Professional Guardians

 

Important Due Dates for CPGs
 
 
Annual Renewal Certification Fee and Declaration (Annual Dues and Declaration)
Due on August 1[1]                                                   $150.00
If received August 2 - August 31, additional late fee                                                                                   $ 50.00
If received Sept 1 – Sept 30, additional late fee of                                                                                    $100.00
 
Errors and Omissions Insurance Declaration
Due on August 1                                                      
If received August 2 - August 31, late fee of                                                                                    $ 50.00
If received Sept 1 – Sept 30, late fee of                                                                                   $100.00
 
Every 2 Years Continuing Education Credit Reporting[2]
Affidavit of Attendance due January 30 every odd year
(2013, 2015, 2017, etc

Credits must be taken by December 31 of prior
reporting period. If Affidavit is filed after January 30
or credits taken after December 31 of prior
reporting period, a special service fee applies                                                                                   $ 50.00

Failure to file declarations
or pay dues on time may result in decertification
 


[1]Declarations will be accepted no earlier than July 1.
[2]Guardians are not required to report continuing education credits during the calendar year in which the guardian is admitted to practice.
