• The Yakima County Family Court Facilitator’s hours are 7:00 a.m. -  5:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday.

• To make an appointment, call 509-574-2695 and leave your name, a phone number with voice mail, your case number, and the reason you are calling.  Walk-in service is not offered. 

• The $40.00 fee for each appointment must be paid in the Clerk’s Office in advance.

• Do-It-Yourself Books are available for purchase in the Clerk’s Office, cash only:

Divorce Book                                           $50.00
Custody Modification Book                      $40.00
Support Modification Book                       $30.00
Contempt Packet                                      $20.00
Nonparental Custody Book                      $40.00 

• We offer a "Divorce Orientation" to persons filing for a new divorce. 

o       $25.00 fee, to be paid in the Clerk's Office.  Advance registration is not required. Payment may be made just before class starts.

o       Offered 4 times per month, including one time per month in Spanish.  Class schedules are available in the Clerk's Office.  The class is one hour long.  

o       Taught by the Family Court Facilitator.

o       Form usage, court procedures, and overview of divorce process for Yakima County.

• Interpreter Services:

o       Available Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m.  - 12:00 p.m. 

o       Helps fill out forms in English during appointments with the Family Court Facilitator.

o       No additional fee for the interpreter service.
