Call to Order:  Judge Hogan called the meeting to order.

Minutes:  The minutes from the July 11, 2005 Board meeting were approved.

Chair Report:  Judge Hogan received a letter from DSHS nominating Suzanne Thompson for their vacant position on the Board.  We have heard nothing from the ARC in response to the Board’s request that the group recommend a candidate for the Board.  Judge Hogan also mentioned that the Board’s proposed change to the certification requirements in GR 23 was filed with the Supreme Court last week with a request that it be considered by the court on an expedited basis.

Vice Chair Report:  Commissioner Aronow, as co-chair of the SOP Committee stated there would be a committee meeting next week.

Old Business:  Judge Hogan inquired about the letters to the CPGs who had not complied with their CEU credits for program year 2004.  Lynne Alfasso explained that the letters notifying the CPGs that they were not in compliance with the regulations were sent.  The Education Committee will be looking at those that still have not complied and will make a recommendation to the Board at the September meeting regarding further action.

New Business:  There was no new business to report.

Next meeting will be held at the AOC SeaTac facility, September 12, 2005 at 9:00 a.m.

Meeting adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,

Sylvia Nelson
