RULE 4.5 PRETRIAL HEARING When a plea of not guilty is entered, the court may set a time for a pretrial hearing. The time set for the pretrial hearing should allow sufficient time for the lawyers to initiate and complete discovery, conduct further investigation of the case as needed, and continue plea discussions.
