Rule 29 Presiding Judge Before January 1 of each odd numbered year, the judges shall by majority vote elect a presiding judge and an assistant presiding judge, to serve a two-year term starting January 1 of the year after the election. In the event of an interim vacancy, the judges shall by majority vote elect a replacement within 30 days after the vacancy occurs. [Effective September 1, 2010.]
