CIVIL TRIAL SETTINGS; CONTINUANCES;
PRETRIAL SETTLEMENT CONFERENCES
Whenever a Demand for Jury Trial has been filed in a
civil case, the case shall be set for mandatory mediation.
All attorneys and all parties or persons representing them
with authority to consent to settlement shall be present for
mediation. In the event of the failure of any person
identified above to appear for the mediation, terms may be
assessed, at the discretion of the court, for failure to
comply and the inconvenience, to the opposing party.
