RULE NO. 14 PRETRIAL MOTIONS A. Notice of all pretrial motions shall be in writing and served upon the opposing counsel and filed with the court within fourteen (14) days after the pretrial hearing, or within thirty (30) days prior to the date scheduled for trial if trial has been scheduled, unless good cause is shown. B. A hearing for pretrial motions shall be scheduled by the Calendar Coordinator no later than seven (7) days prior to the date set for trial. C. All pretrial motions and supporting briefs shall be filed within the five (5) days following the filing of notice for pretrial motion(s). Responsive briefs shall be filed within ten (10) days after service of the motion and supporting briefs. Failure to comply with the time frames set forth herein may be grounds for sanctions. D. An original and copy of each pleading and supporting document shall be filed with the court. (Effective Date: 01/07/87)
