ELC 2.8 DISCIPLINARY COUNSEL; SPECIAL DISCIPLINARY COUNSEL (a) Function. Disciplinary counsel acts as counsel on the Association’s behalf on all matters under these rules, and performs other duties as required by these rules, the Executive Director, or the Board of Governors. (b) Appointment. The Executive Director of the Association, under the direction of the Board of Governors, employs a suitable member or members of the Association as disciplinary counsel. Special disciplinary counsel may be appointed whenever necessary to conduct an individual investigation or proceeding. [Adopted effective October 1, 2002.]
