COURT RULE # 3


    Pursuant to House Bill 296 2205 Regular Session, the
Medical Lake Municipal Court hereby adopts this rule whereby
it shall hereafter exercise jurisdiction and cognizance of
any civil action or proceedings brought under RCW 10.14 for
antiharassment protect order, provided that, (1) the alleged
act(s) of unlawful harassment occurred within the City of
Medical Lake, Washington; or (2) when, at the time the
petition is filed, any respondent resides within the City of
Medical Lake, Washington.  In the event that the respondent
does not reside within the City of Medical Lake, the
defendant must be amenable to service within Spokane County;
provided further that all actions and proceedings under RCW
10.14 in which the respondent is under the age of eighteen
(18) years shall be transferred to Spokane Superior Court.
