RULE 7.
COMBINING DOCUMENTS.
A notice of appearance and plea of not guilty may be included in
one document. A waiver of jury trial or speedy trial may be
separate or combined in one document, and signed by the
defendant, or by the defendant's attorney if the attorney
certifies that the waiver has been expressly approved by the
defendant. A demand for the appearance of a BAC technician,
Washington State Toxicologist or a Speed Measuring Device expert
pursuant to CrRLJ 6.13 shall be made in a separate document filed
with the court and served upon the city attorney. Pleadings or
documents may be filed with the court by facsimile, provided that
hard copies of the pleadings or documents are subsequently filed
with the court and copies are served upon the opposing party.
