Local Juvenile Court Rule 7.17 BENCH WARRANTS (A) Generally. Upon proper application to the court, a bench warrant may be issued for a juvenile: 1. Who, without justification, fails to appear at a scheduled court hearing after receiving proper notice; 2. Who is alleged to have violated the terms of his/her community supervision; 3. Who is alleged to have violated the terms of his/her release of detention; and 4. Any other appropriate situation. (B) Procedure. Once an Order to issue a bench warrant has been approved by the court, the Clerk of the court shall issue the warrant for the arrest of the named juvenile: 1. The warrant may be served by law enforcement officers or by probation counselors pursuant to RCW 13.04.040(5). [Adopted effective April 1, 1988]
