                 PRESENCE OF THE DEFENDANT


     (d) All preliminary and timely arrangements for the
court appearance of any defendant held in custody shall be
the responsibility of the deputy prosecutor in charge of the
case, who shall advise the jail staff of the defendant's
required appearance.
