Administration
a) Court Administrator. The court administrator and
superior court clerk, under the supervision of the Superior
Court Judges shall implement the procedures mandated by
these rules and perform any additional duties which may be
delegated by the judges.
b) Administrative Committee. There shall be an
administrative committee composed of both Superior Court
judges, a Court commissioner, and three members of the
Washington State Bar Association, chosen by the Clallam
County Bar Association. The bar members of the committee
shall serve for staggered three year terms and may be
reappointed. Terms of the initial committee shall be
determined by lot.
c) Administrative Committee - Duties. The administrative
committee shall have the power and duty to:
1) Select its chairperson and provide for its procedures;
2) Select and appoint the panel of arbitrators;
3) Remove a person from the panel of arbitrators;
4) Establish procedures for selecting an arbitrator not
inconsistent with the Mandatory Arbitration Rules or these rules;
5) Review the administration and operation of the
arbitration program periodically and make recommendations as
it deems appropriate to improve the program.
