LAR 4. JUVENILE COURT AND FAMILY LAW DEPARTMENT Juvenile Department. There shall be a juvenile department of the court, in which shall be heard all matters arising under the juvenile court laws. Both judges are designated as judges of the juvenile and family courts. Each court commissioner of each of the three counties is authorized to hear juvenile cases and family law cases in his or her respective county in these departments as assigned by the presiding judge.
