                                               ACCESS TO COURT RECORDS


	a)  Filing by Clerk. It is the policy of the Spokane County Superior Court to make, as a part of the public
record, all documents considered by judicial officers in the course of their official duties. This includes pleadings,
reports, letters, and other written materials. The Court directs the Clerk of Court to place in the public file all
documents considered by the Court, unless otherwise sealed or redacted.

      (1)  The Court orders the following documents to be placed in the public court file after consideration by the court:	

           (A)  Mental condition evaluations (RCW 10.77);

           (B)  SS0SA evaluations and reports (RCW 9.94A.670);

           (C)  Presentence reports (RCW 9.94A.500(1)); and

           (D)  Victim Impact Statements (Washington State Constitution, Article I, Section 35).
	
      (2)  Criminal Cases. After first appearance, pretrial first appearance evaluations and risk assessment tools used
in pretrial hearings shall be placed in the public court file.
