                           JURORS


     (a) Examination of Jurors

     (1) Juror Questionnaires.  The trial judge shall direct
that individual questionnaires of jurors dealing with
matters of a personal or sensitive nature shall be filed
under seal.  Juror questionnaires may not be removed from
the courtroom without the express permission of the trial
judge.  At the conclusion of voir dire, juror questionnaires
shall be returned to the court.

     (2) Juror Information Form.  Juror Information Forms
will not be filed with the court file.  The Juror
Information Form may not be removed from the courtroom
without the express permission of the trial judge.  At the
conclusion of voir dire, the Juror Information Forms will be
returned to the court.

     (d) Empaneling Jury.  The Spokane County Superior Court
shall employ a properly programmed electronic data
processing system to make random selection of jurors as
authorized by RCW 2.36.063 and RCW 2.36.093.  The presiding
judge is empowered to take any necessary action on behalf of
the court.  The master jury list shall be selected during
July of each year from an unrestricted random sample from
the names of all registered voters filed with the county
auditor without regard to location of precinct, the judges
having determined that a fair and random selection may be
achieved without division of the county into jury districts.
A general jury venire as now provided by law shall be issued
for jurors for service for such term and at such frequency
as may be required consistent with applicable law.

     (e) Challenge.

     (9) Peremptory Challenges.  The exercise or waiver of
peremptory challenges shall be noted secretly on the jury list.
