                 CHANGE OF NAME OF STEPCHILD


     When a change of name of a child to that of the
stepfather is sought for a child under 18 years of age,
notice must be given to the natural father in the manner of
giving notice to a nonconsenting parent in an adoption and,
in addition, written consent will be required of any child
over 14 years of age.
