                LOCAL RULES OF SUPERIOR COURT


     (a) Adoption.  These local rules were originally
adopted on September 21, 1978, to be effective on January 1,
1979.  They were revised August 1, 1981.  They may be
amended from time to time by a majority of the judges, but
shall first be submitted for comment to representatives of
the Spokane County Bar Association in the absence of
emergency or other circumstances justifying immediate
change.  The provisions of these rules are supplemental to
the Rules of the Supreme Court of the State of Washington
and shall not be construed in conflict with them.

     (b) Format.  These rules shall be contained in the
Spokane County electronic data processing system.  Updated
copies shall be available to counsel and other interested
parties upon payment of a reasonable fee to cover the cost
of reproduction.

     (c) Filing With Administrator for the Courts.  Copies
of these rules and subsequent amendments shall be provided
to the state court administrator without fee pursuant to GR 7.
