                     SEARCH AND SEIZURE


     (g) Search Warrant Custody and Control.  The Superior
Court judge authorizing a search warrant will retain custody
and control of the affidavit for search warrant and the
search warrant until executed or returned unexecuted.

     (1) After execution, the search warrant shall be filed
by number and description of the person or property to be
searched.  An index will be maintained and available to the
public in the clerk's office.

     (2) The affidavit and accompanying papers including the
return of service shall be filed in accordance with the
provisions of LCrR 2.3(h).

     (h) Sealing or Destruction of Records.

     (1)  The destruction or sealing of court records is
governed by GR 15.  A motion to seal or destroy a record
shall be made before a record is filed with the clerk.  The
motion shall be made to the judicial officer before which
the matter is pending, or the Presiding Judge.
