               RIGHT TO APPOINTMENT OF EXPERTS


     (a) Appointment.  An order authorizing counsel to
obtain the services of an expert will not authorize payment
for those services but shall define the services to be
provided.  If services are authorized, counsel shall advise
the service provider of the provisions of this rule and the
approved rates as set by the court.

     (b) Compensation.  Compensation in excess of an hourly
rate or total amount as determined reasonable from time to
time by the superior court will not be approved without a
prior report and special authorization by the court.  Claims
submitted within the approved hourly rates and total amounts
may be approved by the supervisor in accordance with the budget.
