Proposed Rules Archives An archive of Proposed Rule Changes/Additions can be reviewed in order to obtain historical information concerning Court Rule changes. The archive contains proposed changes, purpose statements, and comments received prior to court actions.

January 2013 - Proposed Rules Published for Comment

The January 10, 2013 En Banc Conferenced ordered proposed amendments to CrR 2.3; CrR 3.2.1 and Comment 5 of CJC 2.0 to be published for comments on February 5, 2013 with a comment expiration of April 30, 2013.

The December 6, 2012 En Banc Conference ordered proposed changes to ER 804, ER 901, CR 34, RPC 5.5, LPORPC 1.12A, RPC 5.8, GR 12.1, APR Rules and ELC Rules.  The rules will be published for comment on January 8, 2013 and will have a comment period that expires on April 30, 2013.

The September 6, 2012 En Banc Conference ordered proposed changes to GR 31.1 originally brought before the court in June 2011 as GR31A.  This rule will be published for comment in September 2012  and will have a comment period that expires on December 31, 2012.

The June 6, 2012 En Banc Conference ordered proposed amendments to RPC 4.4 and a revised new set of Family Law Civil Rules (FLCR) to be published for comments on July 24, 2012 with a comment expiration date of April 30, 2013.

The June 9, 2011 En Banc Conference ordered proposed amendments to IRLJ 2.1 and GR 31 and proposed new rule GR 31A. These rules will be published for comments on July 12, 2011 and will have a comment period that expires on November 30, 2011.
