Since the law requires the forms to have a lot of specific information in them, at first glance they may appear difficult. The instructions for filling out the forms will help you through each form step by step. Take your time as you go through the instructions. Fill out the forms to the best of your ability. Ask the court clerk if you are unclear on what you are to do.

When there is a space that asks you to explain something in detail, you may want to practice on a blank piece of paper first. This way you can gather your thoughts and organize them before you fill out the form in a final version. If you need a clean copy of a form, ask the Clerk for it.

The Clerk can answer some questions for you, but some situations may require more assistance than the Clerk can provide.

When you have finished filling out the forms, take them to the Clerk. The Clerk will review the forms and help you with the next steps in the process
