OFFICIAL COURT REPORTER OPENING
 
Spokane County Superior Court is accepting applications to fill the position of Official Court Reporter. As per RCW 2.32.180, requirements include – “Three years’ experience as a skilled, practical reporter, or who upon examination shall be able to report and transcribe accurately (175 wpm) of the judge’s charge or (200 wpm) of testimony each for (5) consecutive minutes.” OR, successfully pass the test as laid out in that statue. Certified Shorthand Reporter license in the state of Washington required. Registered Professional Reporter certification preferred.
Salary: $31.15/hour plus excellent benefits. 37.5 hours/week. To apply, submit a Spokane County Employment Application, resume, cover letter, and references. The application may be downloaded from the Spokane County website:
