Job Grade N8; Nonexempt; Full-time; Monday-Friday
Starting Salary Range:  $36,267 - $40,000/year DOE +benefits

The primary responsibility of this position is to answer public inquiries on a wide range of questions about the lawyer discipline system. The position informs the public and membership about the grievance process, and the general function of the WSBA, especially the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC).  The position also informally mediates disputes between lawyers and their clients and otherwise supports a variety of functions of the Intake team and ODC in general.
 
Consumer affairs and/or telephone customer service experience is required.  Two years college required.  Bachelor's degree and/or law office experience preferred.  Excellent communication and good writing and mediation skills are required.  Spanish-language proficiency  is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook is required, as is the ability to retrieve information quickly, comfortably, and accurately from an electronic database.   A patient, calm and helpful demeanor is desired.  Must be able to multi-task and handle public concerns under sometimes stressful conditions.
