OPINION NO. 85-3



QUESTION

     Is it proper for judges of the courts of limited jurisdiction to
attend a seminar sponsored by law enforcement agency where a BAC Verifier
will be demonstrated?


ANSWER

     Judges are not prohibited by the Code of Judicial Conduct from
attending an educational seminar at which a BAC Verifier will be
demonstrated, sponsored by law enforcement agency whose members regularly
appear in courts of limited jurisdiction.
