Request Summary:

This request, as approved by the Codes Committee, is to create a code of “T” for Bond Transferred to record the transfer of a bond between Courts of Limited Jurisdiction and Superior Courts.  The request is to have this code available to document that the bond was transferred to another court.  The code should behave the same as E - Exonerated by removing the bond from the trust on the case and making a docket entry that states that it was transferred.

Business Impacts:

This change will make the new code available to users.

Summary of Proposed Solution

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) will add the code to JIS (DISCIS).

Proposed Solution

AOC will research the function of the E – Exonerated code and use that code as the basis for the new code.  The technical team will identify any differences in functionality required between the existing code and the new code.  The code will then be developed and tested to ensure proper functionality.
