CIVIL CAUSE-OF-ACTION CASELOAD STATISTICS

All civil caseload statistics are categorized by their cause of action into ten civil cause-of-action reporting categories. The classifying cause of action should be indicated on the case information cover sheet accompanying the filing of the petition or complaint. These cause-of-action reporting categories are defined below with the applicable SCOMIS codes within parentheses.
