All mental illness caseload statistics are categorized into three mental illness/alcohol cause-of-action reporting categories. The classifying cause of action should be indicated on the filing of the petition or complaint. These cause-of-action reporting categories are defined below with the applicable SCOMIS codes within parentheses.
