4. ORIGINAL COUNTS FILED

In juvenile offender cases, there may be multiple charges and more than one count of any given charge. These charges may be filed on the original information initiating a case, or may be added by amending the information.

This statistical reporting category seeks to account for every charge and count on the original information filed using the offense reporting categories. These charges and counts are reported in the month in which they are filed.
