Pending Decision Sub-Docket Codes
A case with a PENDING DECISION is tracked in SCOMIS by recording a pending decision sub-docket code on the Docket screen below a Proceeding Held entry. Pending Decision entries generate a Pending Decision report.
After a decision is rendered, delete the Pending Decision sub-docket entry. If the Pending Decision entry is not deleted, the case will continue to appear on the Pending Decision Report.
Pending Decision sub-docket codes are not affected by a court's JIS Calendaring (CAPS) implementation.

● a sub-docket code to record proceeding time/duration or location
● a sub-docket code to indicate a Therapeutic Court proceeding
● a pending decision sub-docket code
● additional descriptive NOTE entries.
The Secondary field is used in conjunction with some Proceeding sub-docket codes to record an amount of time, or a new calendar setting date.
