Note: The Judgment Type field on the Docket screen allows entry of four characters. The field allows for entry of a number modifier after the Judgment Type Code to indicate the general range of the judgment amount. Modifier Code 1 – Echoes “Under $5,000.” Modifier Code 2 – Echoes “$5,000 - $10,000.” Modifier Code 3 – Echoes “Over $10,000.” No Modifier Code – No descriptive echo. Example: JUDGMENT TYPE: TAX3 TAX WARRANT OVER $10,000

Usage Notes

A Judgment Type is entered on the Names or Docket screen when the Judgment case is added. The Date Signed, Signed By, Date Filed, and Effective Date fields are also completed.

When the Judgment case is closed, the Judgment Status and Date fields are completed.
