Refer to the Proceeding Docket Codes section for codes related to proceedings held, continued, or cancelled/stricken.

Accounting Docket Codes

Sorted alphabetically by description. Refer to the Secondary Field note below for information on entering monetary amounts associated with an accounting docket code. Accounting docket entries for a case can be viewed using the SCOMIS Display Accounting command (case number required).

Document / Event Docket Codes

Sorted alphabetically by description. Includes both Order and Non-Order docket codes. Refer to the Proceeding Docket Codes section for codes related to proceedings held, continued, cancelled, or stricken.

System-Generated Warrant Codes

These codes were approved by the JIS Codes Committee 09/17/2015 and may be seen on the SCOMIS/Odyssey dockets, but need not be input by court staff. The system will provide these codes during data replication to ensure the proper warrant status for Superior Court warrants as seen in JABS and JCS.

Judicial Officer Codes

These codes may be used on the Docket screen to connect an entry to a judicial officer. The format of the code includes a locally defined Judge/Commissioner ID or Department Number. The Judge/Commissioner ID or Department Numbers are created by AOC Customer Services at the request of a local court.

Arbitration Docket Codes

Refer to the online SCOMIS Manual, Arbitration topic for more information on processing cases in an arbitration court. See Note 5 below for a list of Arbitration Rate Codes that can be used in the SCOMIS Docket Secondary field. Following is a list of the most commonly used docket codes for arbitration cases:

1. If a docket code may result in a change in case management status, refer to the Case Management Status Codes section for detailed information.

3. Therapeutic Courts - The following Docket codes can be used for tracking purposes by counties with Therapeutic Court programs:
Effective February 18, 2014

The Proceeding Sub-Docket code #DCT (Drug Court) can be used in conjunction with any Proceeding Docket code.

4. Use the Secondary field on the Docket screen to record a monetary amount associated with an accounting docket code. The format for the amount is 999,999,999.99 (maximum of 14 characters including two commas and one decimal). Use a minus (-) in the first position to indicate a negative amount.

5. Arbitration Rate Codes
Use the Secondary field on the Docket screen to record the number of hours and the hourly compensation rate code. This entry triggers expenditure calculations for arbitration awards and settlements on the Arbitration Statistics Report (JSIR53).
