Brown vs. Board of Education

BROWN VS. BOARD OF EDUCATION

THE AMERICAN TRIUMPH:  MAY 17, 2004

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the historic case Brown v. Board of Education, the Loren Miller Bar Association will present “Brown: An American Triumph” at the University of Washington’s Kane Hall on Monday, May 17th at 4:00 p.m.

Washington Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerry Alexander and Justices Charles W. Johnson, Barbara A. Madsen, Richard B. Sanders, Faith Ireland, Bobbe J. Bridge, Tom Chambers, Susan Owens and Mary Fairhurst will portray the United States Supreme Court in a reenactment of the case, hearing arguments from Lembhard G. Howell and United States District Court Judge John C. Coughenour who will portray the counsel in this historic case.
