Family Membership Certificate  |
A “Family Membership” certificate that a judge can sign for a newly adopted child and family. These can be copied onto nice card stock, used with a court or county seal, etc. |
National Adoption Day Brochure  |
A “National Adoption Day” brochure that can be copied and passed out at meetings, sent in invitation letters, or put in lobbies for the public. |
Invitation Letter  |
A template for an invitation letter that you can adapt to your court’s or office’s letter-head, in order to invite individuals or groups to your event. |
Donation Letter  |
A template for a donation letter you can use to request help from local community groups or businesses. |

National Adoption Day Proclamation  |
A template for a National Adoption Day proclamation you can adapt to your court/county and take to your county commissioners. These make nice proclamations to read at events. We recommend asking the county administration no later than the end of October to place this on an agenda in early November. |
News Release  |
A template of a press release that can be sent to your local newspaper. Though the AOC and DSHS will be sending out press releases to all media in participating counties, feel free to do your own as well. |
Letter-to-the-editor  |
Letter-to-the-editor template for a judge or court official or another official to write to the local newspaper. It would be best to adapt this template to your own court or to Washington state fact (see Fact Sheet in this section), but this letter could help you get started. |
Personal Release For Use of Image  |
The "Personal Release For Use of Image Form" is a form that adoptive parents sign so their photos can be used on Web sites and in newsletters, etc |
Fact Sheets on Foster Adoption  |
Washington state facts about foster adoptions and National Adoption Day. These can be set out at your event, sent out with a press release (if you wish to do your own), used to enhance speaking points, etc.
