Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act

The following references are being made available in order to provide some guidance for complying with the Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act (SCRA).

It should be noted that on Dec. 19, 2003, President Bush signed the Service Members' Civil Relief Act into law. This new law replaces the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act of 1940.
