Public Trust and Confidence (PTC) Committee

Welcome to the Washington State Public Trust and Confidence Committee Website. . .

Through this website, we hope to provide valuable information regarding innovative court programs in your local courts, in addition to serving as a clearinghouse for legal resources throughout our state.

Formed in 1999 by the Board for Judicial Administration to further understanding of the judicial branch of government, the Committee includes members representing the bench and bar, educators, legislators, local government officials, civic groups and members of the public.

Our focus is to enhance the public's trust in the legal system, through assessing public opinion, concern and level of trust in the judicial system, addressing these concerns and making recommendations for change to the state's Board for Judicial Administration.

Please share with us your thoughts and comments. Written comments are encouraged at the following address: Public Trust and Confidence Committee c/o Administrative Office of the Courts, P.O. Box 41170, Olympia, WA 98504.
