Mary Kay Becker For the last twelve years, Judge Mary Kay Becker has been the Court of Appeals Judge in this position. She has served as chief of the statewide Court of Appeals and has been a pro tem justice on the State Supreme Court.
Earlier, Judge Becker was a lawyer in private practice in Bellingham, representing people in a variety of matters from family law to complex trials. She was also a state legislator (1975-83), a member of the Whatcom County Council, and a Trustee for Western Washington University.
