  • CJC Canon 6 permits judges to receive compensation and reimbursement for expenses for quasi-judicial activities permitted by the Code, if the source of the funds does not give the appearance of influencing the judge in his judicial duties or otherwise give an appearance of impropriety. (Opinion 93-28)
