The
Flash Player is installed! Next, we need to set up the
audio. There is no audio with this screen, but there will be in
a few screens.
The course units contain audio narration
that you need to hear. So, you need
to have either a headset or speakers connected to your computer.
The computer audio mini-jack, typically on the front
of the computer box next to the
CD-ROM tray, will not provide the audio for the
course units.
The audio mini-jack you need to use is normally
located on the
back of the CPU/computer/tower (not the monitor/computer
screen.) If you are using a laptop, it may be located on the side
of the laptop. Next to this audio mini-jack will either be the
word “out” or some other symbol for audio out such
as a circle with an arrow coming out of the circle similar to
this .
Connect either a headset or speakers to this audio out
mini-jack now. If you have a problem, please contact your local
information technology (IT) staff.
