RESCINDED - In RE the Matter of Court Administration Order RE: Conference Call Charges

A standard rate for telephone conference calls was established in August, 1980and revised in January, 2002. The costs incurred by the Court in furnishing litigants and counsel the opportunity for telephone argument has decreased It is not feasible to ascertain the exact cost of each conference in a timely manner.

It is hereby ordered that effective August 1, 2006, telephone conference arguments for up to three participants will be billed out at the rate of $20.00 for a conference of shorter than 20 minutes or $25.00 for conferences longer than 20 minutes. An additional $5.00 will be added for each additional participant in the conference, regardless of the length of the call.

Telephone conference charges shall be paid by the moving party, unless the Appellate Court directs otherwise in the ruling or decision on the motion.
