Judge Erik D. Price

Judge Price was appointed to the Court of Appeals, Division II, in 2021 and subsequently elected in 2022. Prior to serving on the Court of Appeals, he served 9 years as a superior court judge in Thurston County. While at the superior court, he served as presiding judge, chief criminal judge, the Adult Drug and DUI Court judge, and the chair of the Thurston County Pretrial Justice Project Policy Team. Judge Price also received a community leadership award for his judicial and community leadership during the pandemic.

Prior to his election to the superior court bench, Judge Price worked the majority of his career focused on civil litigation, administrative law, and regulatory law as a partner with Lane Powell PC in the Olympia office.

Judge Price earned both his bachelor's degree and law degree, with honors, from the University of Washington.
