Title 26 GAL Training

The next 4 day Title 26 GAL Certification Training, hosted by Kitsap Legal Aid Services, is tentatively scheduled for March 13, 14, 20, 21, 2026 by Zoom. PLEASE NOTE: If you are not a GAL in Kitsap County, please check with your court's GAL Manager to confirm that this training meets the requirements of your county.

Title 11 Court Visitor and GAL Training

Pursuant to Washington's Uniform Guardianship, Conservatorship and Other Protective Arrangements Act, the Department of Social and Health Services is tasked with developing model training for court visitors and guardians ad litem for adult and minor guardianship cases. See RCW 11.130.155

*Important. Please check with the superior court administration for individual courts regarding the training requirements to qualify for the registry for that court.

Kitsap Legal Aid Services will be holding a 2025 Washington Training for Court Visitors and Guardians ad Litem: The Uniform Guardianship Act as it Relates to Minors training on April 23 and 24, 2025 over Zoom. Initial Certification:   Thursday, May 15, 2025 & Friday, May 16th, 2025
Re-certification: Friday, May 16, 2025 only
