Title 26 GAL Training

The 2024 Title 26 GAL Recertification Training hosted by Kitsap Legal Services will be on Wednesday, April 24th from 8:45am to 5pm on Zoom. To register, please visit: https://secure.givelively.org/event/kitsap-legal-services/2024-title-26-gal-recertification-training-cle   This training is open to anyone who is currently at Title 26 GAL. To obtain continuing education credits to maintain Title 26 GAL status, please check with your county’s GAL Manager or Administrator to see if this training meets your county's Title 26 GAL requirements.

The next 4 day Title 26 GAL Certification Training hosted by Kitsap Legal Services is tentatively scheduled for March 14, 15, 21, & 22, 2025 on Zoom.

Title 11 Court Visitor and GAL Training

Pursuant to Washington's Uniform Guardianship, Conservatorship and Other Protective Arrangements Act, the Department of Social and Health Services is tasked with developing the training for court visitors and guardians ad litem for adult and minor guardianship cases. See RCW 11.130.155

*Important. Please check with the superior court administration of each county regarding its training requirements to qualify for the registry for that court.

Initial Certification: Thursday, April 18, 2024 & Friday, April 19th, 2024
Re-certification: Friday, April 19th, 2024
