What is the Business Problem or Opportunity |
Independent third-party research by the Washington State Institute for Public Policy has revealed that the Washington State Aggression Replacement Training does not provide effective treatment outcomes:
https://www.wsipp.wa.gov/ReportFile/1707
At the April 29, 2021 juvenile court strategic planning meeting, the decision was made to remove WSART functionality from future roadmap planning for JCS. As no further AOC-based support is intended by the juvenile courts, the Juvenile Court Program requests sunsetting of the existing application maintained by the Web Team supporting the WSART process:
https://apps.courts.wa.gov/index.cfm?fa=csTraining.wsart
This sunsetting should include:
- Removing the application itself, alongside any database information associated with that application;
- Removing any links to that application from Inside Courts and other AOC-maintained web properties, and;
- Removing any supporting infrastructure (RACF groups created for the application, for instance).
|
Expected Benefit: |
Reduce size of AOC application portfolio; align AOC with strategic desires of the juvenile court administrators.
