Impact Description:

With the emerging security environment, including multiple patches weekly, security will be improved by modernizing our services.

What is the Business Problem or Opportunity

The agency needs to modernize the Web Services offerings. Currently, we offer a combination of legacy and more modern applications across ten different web sites serving the public, the agency, and all levels of courts. There are more than 150 statewide applications and microservices. These have been developed over time without a significant redesign or overall strategy. In additiona, a comprehensive accessibilty framework is lacking across many sites. Finally, the need for web services across the agency has more than tripled, with many programs needing web applications and sites. We must develop and implement a strrategy to sustain our web services.

Expected Benefit:

Develop a roadmap for modernization of all our web offerings to better serve all users.
