Risks in undertaking this project include:

• The largest risk of this migration is a lack of sufficient change management communications about the updated login process and how managing user access levels is changed as a result. While this may not increase support overhead substantially due to the number of AOC staff involved, it may create short-term increases in support overhead. This risk will be mitigated by ensuring clear communication with Blake staff on changes and how it impacts their work processes.
• Migration of permissions management from on-premise Active Directory systems to Entra ID may require increased support overhead from the appropriate infrastructure staff. This risk will be mitigated by communicating needed changes with those infrastructure staff well before those changes are needed in a production environment.
• Unanticipated design or systems issues may be caused by the transition to Microsoft 365 (Entra ID) logins. This will be mitigated with the stabilization period for this project. Mitigation of issues or concerns may require collaboration with infrastructure staff.

Risks in not undertaking this project include:

• Blake's AOC portal will not comply with policy and standard that requires integration with the internal identity provider (i.e., Microsoft 365/Entra ID). In addition, support overhead for Active Directory integrations will continue to be incurred.
