FD #84975/85388 - Judgment links displayed on Case Search on DW site are not loading actual data.
Issue is very likely a failure to load EDR data over to the proper SQL tables on the Public_Data_Mart. The coding loads the proper key values for the cases but the actual data for the judgments is NOT a part of the data load from the db_views that are in use.
This will be a significant lift to rewrite and test this data load system and will require cooperation of the BIT team and Core DB support.
Example
Hello Web Team - I received an email from someone from the public reporting when they click on "Judgment Available" link after performing a Person Search on the Public Case Search page, the system displays an error message. I was able to reproduce the issue following these steps:
- navigate to dw.courts.wa.gov
- Select the "Person Search" tab
- Entered "Nicholas" in the "First Name" field
- Entered "Clisby" in the "Last Name" field
- Selected the "Search" button
- Search results displayed 3 results
- I selected "Judgement Available" link under both results for case number 131009722 and the system displayed the following message each time:
Search Case Records Error
There has been an error. Your search has timed out.
This is generally due to:
- You are searching through millions of rows of case and name records. At peak hours (Mon-Fri, 7:00am to 6:00pm) your searches may timeout due to high demand on the system. Try again in a few minutes or after peak hours.
- Your search needs to be refined. Make sure you're filling out the form as completely as possible. Try searching again.
- If you got this error while drilling into a case or name list via a link, go back and try it again in a few minutes.
